It has been negotiated for 25 years. Now the EU-Mercosur agreement is entering the hot phase. The trade agreement is expected to go to the EU Council for ratification in September, after which it could soon enter into force. Nora Noll will discuss what the current draft looks like, what steps are missing until ratification and what civil society can still do with Bettina Müller, PowerShift's trade and investment policy officer.
