The EU in the Liquefied Gas Trap

# 69.1
Ship with LNG gas in front of Bergen

In their new Security strategy Under Trump, the United States threatens all states that want to combat global climate change. With its exports of fossil energy, be it oil, gas (LNG) or nuclear power, the US aims to achieve global ‘energy dominance’. According to the strategy, "increasing our energy exports allows us … to exercise power". With this means of power, the US wants to put pressure on the European Union in particular.
