How our website meets accessibility requirements
State of compliance with the requirements
Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by persons with disabilities in the usual way, without any particular difficulty and basically without outside help.
Our website is in large part compatible with the BFSG and the BFSGV. However, there are still some barriers on our pages that we are actively working on and want to remove in the future. The following exceptions and incompatibilities exist:
The following content is not barrier-free as it is not compatible with the underlying harmonised standard EN 301 549:
- On individual pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
- On individual pages, there are ‘iframe’ elements without labeling. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult.
- On a page, the language stored in HTML does not match the page language.
- On individual pages, there are ‘iframe’ elements whose labels have already been assigned. If the elements cannot be clearly assigned, users of screen readers can confuse the elements.
- On several pages, there are elements with the attribute Aria-hidden that can be focused at the same time. This makes these elements achievable for assistive technologies, although they should be hidden.
- On several pages there are interactive elements whose name is not part of the label. This makes it difficult to control the website via voice control.
