Climate crisis and trade policy, how does this fit together? The trade agreement between Canada and the European Union – CETA – has been partially implemented since 2017 and the remaining parts are currently being voted on. What is the climate-friendly reputation of the agreement? Alessa Hartmann, PowerShift's Trade and Investment Policy Officer, answers our moderator Antonia Vangelista how trade in climate-damaging goods has changed in recent years and whether the agreement provides for climate rules at all.
