The EU Critical Raw Materials Act was discussed in record time. Just nine months after the first draft by the European Commission, it was adopted by Parliament in December 2023. It should help to secure raw materials and reduce dependence on individual countries. In this episode, Michael Reckordt, PowerShift's Raw Materials Policy Officer and our moderator Antonia Vangelista answer: What has changed in substance since the first draft, and how could the law affect the environment and people?
