Circular economy - How we can make the energy transition resource-efficient

# 37

80 tonnes: So much steel is needed for the construction of a wind turbine. For the energy transition, we need many metals. It is therefore clear: We need to conserve raw materials through recycling for as long as possible and keep them in circulation. In the current podcast episode, we talk about how this works and why we need a resource-saving energy transition.

More information can be found in our publication “Thinking raw materials transition and energy transition together”: https://power-shift.de/rohstoffwende-und-energiewende/

Podcast episode 33 also deals with “metals for the energy transition”, which can be found here: https://power-shift.de/media/podcast-nr-33-metalle-fuer-die-energiewende/
