The metal sector is booming. By 2050, lithium demand alone could increase by 2100 percent. The German government wants to invest in more mining in the future and justifies this with the increasing demand for metallic raw materials that would be needed for the energy transition. In our current podcast episode, we talk about why this is not so true and why we absolutely have to think the energy transition together with the raw materials transition.
