Despite global warming, we in Germany must continue to heat up in the coming decades – as climate-neutral as possible. By 2045, heating networks and heating systems must be completely supplied with renewable energies. Cities and districts are currently drawing up municipal heating plans for this purpose. In Berlin, there was a first interim result at the end of 2024.
Together with the moderator Antonia Vangelista, PowerShift consultant Neelke Wagner looks at how far the heat transition in Germany has come, which heating options are really climate-neutral and which only give the impression, and which steps are still to be taken for the heat transition in Germany.
