The trade agreement between the EU and the Andean countries of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador harms the climate and the environment, according to a new study by PowerShift. The EU imports mainly agricultural products such as avocados, palm oil or bananas. They grow on huge plantations for which rainforests are extensively destroyed.
