The mining of raw materials is always in the focus when it comes to environmental crimes and human rights violations. The Germany-wide Alliance Working Group on Raw Materials, of which PowerShift has been a member since the beginning, therefore calls for a comprehensive turnaround in German raw materials policy in the ‘super election year’. With Hannah Pilgrim, who has been coordinating the alliance for a year, we talk about the current demand paper of the working group and what raw material policy expectations it addresses to the future federal government.
