The trade agreement between the European Union and the Latin American Mercosur countries, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay is becoming increasingly hotly debated. Just recently, it was high on the agenda at the EU-Latin America summit in Brussels. In today's episode, we are talking about one aspect of the agreement that has so far received little attention – its impact on women. Women in South America in particular must fear for their jobs and access to medicines, education and other services through the trade agreement.
