Crises in the field of environment, human rights and climate are intensifying. Germany continues to consume enormous amounts of metallic raw materials on a global scale. By way of example, we show what this consumption means for people in Guinea. From there Germany imports 92% its need for the basic aluminium material bauxite.
Is Guinea an isolated case? NO!
Time and again, human rights violations and environmental destruction occur in the mining of raw materials. That is why we urgently need a change in mobility and raw materials.
