The environmental, human rights and climate crises are intensifying. Germany continues to consume enormous amounts of metallic raw materials on a global scale. By way of example, we show what this consumption means for people in Guinea. From there, Germany imports 92% his need for the aluminium basic material bauxite.
Is Guinea an isolated case? NO!
Time and again, there are human rights violations and environmental destruction in the mining of raw materials. That is why we urgently need a change in mobility and raw materials.
