An Introduction to the EU-Mexico Trade Agreement
The renewed EU-Mexico trade agreement is expected to be the first to be voted on by the EU Council and Parliament in 2021. The EU and Mexico have been cooperating on a trade agreement since 2000. The EU-Mexico Travel Guide – All Powers to...? Investors!” analyses what the old EU-Mexico agreement meant for the Latin American country and then analyses what the innovations in the updated trade agreement are. The booklet critically deals with the further tariff cuts, the opening of Mexican procurement and the special rights for corporations in order to put them in relation to the rights that people, the environment and the climate gain with the agreement.
A clear introduction to an agreement that has received little attention so far.
