Bettina Müller

Bettina Müller is a Trade and Investment Policy Officer at PowerShift. Her main focus is on trade relations between the European Union and Latin America. It examines how these agreements are designed and the impact they have on social cohesion, environmental standards and democratic spaces in both regions.

Its analysis focuses on the content and consequences of the EU ‑ trade partnerships with Latin American countries. It assesses the extent to which these agreements take into account SDGs, human rights and public regulatory opportunities – and where they perpetuate existing imbalances or legal barriers.

In addition, Bettina Müller contributes her expertise to political debates and strategic processes in order to critically question trade policy regulations and strengthen alternatives. It combines detailed technical analysis with the ability to prepare complex relationships in a target group-oriented manner and to bring them into political discussions.
