Avoid a toxic trade deal.
According to the European Commission, the EU-Mercosur trade agreement will be ratified by the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament later this year. We want to prevent that. For years, organisations and movements, trade unions and farmers' associations from the EU and the four South American Mercosur countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) have spoken out against this toxic trade agreement. Following the negotiations on the EU-Mercosur Agreement on 6 June, was declared terminated on 1 December 2024; Showtime now! If we want to stop the agreement, we need to mobilize as many people as possible. We must address our deputies at the federal level and in the EU Parliament, the German Federal Government and the media. Are you there? Then you are exactly right on this page.
