We want to get away from dirty coal and gas. However, renewable energies need a lot of space – their expansion is driving up land prices worldwide. This is a growing concern for farmers in particular. The production of green hydrogen could exacerbate this problem. Will we have to choose between agriculture and green energy in the future?
And what does the production of hydrogen on Namibia's coasts actually have to do with the arable soils in the Barnim?
We will answer these and other questions in our two-day seminar.
Together with the Young Farmers' Association (jAbL) Let us discuss how the energy transition and agriculture can be achieved in a climate-friendly way – in Brandenburg, Germany and worldwide.”
