Environmental organizations publish paper for municipal heat planning

Berlin, 14.11.: In a joint position paper, nine German climate and environmental organisations, including Greenpeace, BUND, Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) and Powershift, explain what they mean by ‘good heat planning’. The reason for this is the Bundestag resolution of the Heat Planning Act, which celebrates its first anniversary on 17 November. It is clear: In order to make the heat transition socially compatible, municipalities should be wary of cost traps such as hydrogen.
