Impact of EU trade agreements on smallholder agriculture in Latin America
The modernised EU free trade agreements with Mexico and Chile could be signed in the course of 2023, and the signing of the agreement with Mercosur countries Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay is also to be advanced. But these agreements would have a serious impact on local agriculture and food in Latin America.
