Attac invites from 10-12 July 2026 the Summer Academy in Frankfurt am Main. The focus is on the major societal challenges of our time: Armament and militarization, global commodity conflicts, the struggles for the energy systems of the future, anti-feminism, attacks on the welfare state, climate crisis and authoritarian developments.
But in addition to crises and intensifications, there are also contradictions, fault lines and counter-movements: People are organizing resistance, new alliances are emerging, and political ideas such as socialization are gaining in importance again. The Summer Academy offers space to analyse these developments together and to look for starting points for change.
Discussions include: What can a fair world financial order look like? How can North-South relations be shaped in solidarity and non-exploitation? How can public services of general interest and social infrastructure be strengthened and deprived of the principle of profit? And what are the concrete approaches for a social-ecological transformation?
The Summer Academy offers space for exchange, joint learning, new perspectives and political encouragement.
