Lunch & Learn Series: International Trade – chance or pitfall for energy transition in Europe?

Session 1

Most of the raw materials we need for production and energy transition in Europe don’t grow on European trees. We need to important them, which means there is no energy transition without trade policy. Together with civil society experts we explore how the EU is trying to get their hands on raw materials needed for the energy transition. We look at the critical raw materials strategy and different trade agreements with which the EU is trying to secure the raw materials we need.
