Industrialisation, technology transfer and fair revenues remain limited.<\/p>\n<h3>Lack of transparency<\/h3>\n<p>Contracts and decision-making processes are often non-transparent and civil society actors are hardly involved.<\/p>\n<h3>No demand reduction strategy<\/h3>\n<p>The EU is primarily focusing on more supply instead of structurally reducing raw material consumption.<\/p>\n<h2>Policy action needed<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Reducing raw material consumption<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritise efficiency, circularity and sufficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>The EU is facing a decisive decision.
