At the heart of our common demands is the vision of a climate-friendly and livable city. Not car traffic, but the needs of people should determine the use of public space. You can read about how this can become a reality in our position paper.<\/p>\n<p>We are building on the Mobility Act passed by the state of Berlin and want to further develop the traffic turnaround in Berlin. The mobility law writes for the first time <span class=\"\">Priority is given to walking, cycling and public transport. To this end, the currently completely preferred mode of transport \u2018car\u2019 must be reduced.<\/span>. The dominance of car traffic not only reduces air quality, safety and quality of life, but also occupies public space and makes it less usable and unattractive for non-drivers.
