Information on tax relief<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"contentlist_ul\">\n<li>We are responsible for the promotion of science and research, the promotion of education and training including student aid, the promotion of environmental protection including climate protection, the promotion of international sentiment, tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding, the general promotion of the democratic state system as well as the promotion of civic engagement according to the last exemption decision received from the Tax Office for Corporations I Berlin, StNr. 27\/675\/55937 of 18.12.2024 exempted from corporation tax for the years 2021-2023 pursuant to Paragraph 5(1)(9) of the Law on corporation tax and from trade tax pursuant to Paragraph 3(6) of the Law on business tax.<\/li>\n<li>Membership fees are deductible like donations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Staff structure<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"contentlist_ul\">\n<li>In 2025, the PowerShift team consisted of 18 part-time employees between 25 % and 75 % together (equivalent to 11.25 full-time positions) and was supported by five freelancers. The vast majority of this comes from project-related funding. PowerShift was launched in 2025. <strong data-start=\"211\" data-end=\"238\">Open Society Foundation<\/strong> promoted. The trade sector received, among other things, support from the <strong data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"348\">European Climate Foundation (ECF)<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"380\">Funders for Fair Trade<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"444\">Support Programme Development Policy Education (FEB)<\/strong> and co-financing. The energy and climate sector was, among other things, <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"580\">State Agency for Development Cooperation (LEZ)<\/strong> promoted. The raw materials sector was financed, among other things, by funds from the <strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"719\">FEB, the ECF and the Federal Environment Agency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"820\">A list of the organisations (selection) that have provided funding can be found here.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"1095\">Round <strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"842\">39,700 euros<\/strong> We were able to collect donations, sponsorship memberships, membership fees and fines. Other revenue was generated, among other things, from publication sales, participation fees, reimbursements under the Expense Compensation Act and interest income.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1119\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1119\">Expenditure in 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1554\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Expenditure in 2025 was in line with revenue <strong data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1202\">973.275,16 Euro<\/strong>. The largest item in the total budget was approximately <strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1279\">66 % staffing costs;<\/strong>. Round <strong data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1294\">31 %<\/strong> This was attributable to the content of the project work and general expenses of the association, including fees, material and travel costs as well as rent and office expenses. In addition, <strong data-start=\"1455\" data-end=\"1504\">EUR 2 234.12 allocated to a free reserve<\/strong>.
