It has enacted omnibus laws, i.e. legislative packages that always change several regulations and directives at once. Officially, this should make everything less bureaucratic. In fact, the EU is using Javier Milei's ultra-capitalist chainsaw strategy and is cutting to the foundations of consumer and environmental protection. Bettina M\u00fcller, Head of Investment and Trade Policy at PowerShift, took a closer look at the omnibus laws.
