A look at the EU agreement with the Andean countries Colombia, Peru and Ecuador shows that the reality is different: It mainly benefits large corporations, while small farmers and local trade suffer. And on top of that: Just as the trade agreement affects the economy, it leads to blatant environmental destruction and climate damage.<\/p>\n<p>PowerShift's trading team examined the agreement with a view to the climatic consequences.
