Call for tenders: Internship Raw Materials Policy

From 4 September 2023, we will be offering in our Berlin office (House of Democracy; Greifswalder Straße 4, 10405 Berlin) an exciting internship (mandatory student internship) in the field of raw materials policy.
We offer:
- Insight into the work of an NGO in the fields of raw materials, environmental and foreign trade policy
- Participation in the nationwide civil society network AK Raw Materials
- Insight into political networking, educational advocacy work and the organization of conferences, workshops, webinars and events
- Participation in the creation of publications
- Experience in public relations / communication and fundraising
- PowerShift pays 750,00 Euro per month
We would like to:
- Enrolled students (mandatory internship)
- Political and organisational experience in globalisation, raw material, climate policy or other left-wing or ecological contexts
- Enjoy networking and organization
- Negotiable German and English
- Interest in content research; Good written language and experience in independent political and/or scientific work
- We are pleased about previous knowledge of raw material and environmental policy
Responsibilities:
- Organisational cooperation (workshops and events)
- Content collaboration (research, newsletter, publication creation)
- Public relations, social media and website design
- Cooperation in the application and settlement of third-party funds, if applicable
Period:
- If possible, from 4 September 2023, for a minimum of three months of full-time internship (flexible if necessary, but at least 30 hours). Location: Berlin
